Lake Manyara

Lake Manyara National Park is the small park located at the edge of great rift valley. It mostly famous for colorfully birds and tree climbing lions.

There are diverse wildlife’s to enjoy both grazer animals such as Elephants, Zebra, Impala, Giraffes, Wildebeests, Hippo, lions, hyenas for predator animals.

Numerous bird species at the forest, flamingos and other water birds at the lakeshore provides the overwhelming view.

We depart Arusha city after pickup at your hotel at 0800hrs and take our 2-hrs drive to beautifully Manyara. Once we arrive at the gate we will be welcomed by number of monkeys where you can take initial pictures of the park. Make sure your valuables are kept well as the moneys may be interested to take it. The driver will take you in different parts of the park while giving you all park information and siting nice place for pictures. At the daytime we enjoy our packed lunch then we proceed with game drives until early evening when we take our 2hrs drive back to Arusha city for drop off at your accommodation.

NB: While taking a day trip to Manyara, there is an option of adding the village visit into your tour for an “extra cost” and get the highlight of our culture. The possible villages are Masai village for only Maasai experience or Mto wa Mbu village which comprises more than 120 ethnic groups found in Tanzania. Each tour last for 1 – 1.5 hrs. accompanied by the local guide.
