Upon arriving at Abeid Aman Karume Airport, you will be greeted by our driver and transferred to your hotel in Stone Town. Enjoy some leisure time at the Maru Maru Hotel, where you’ll stay overnight.

Start your day with breakfast at your hotel before meeting our knowledgeable local guide for a tour of Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Explore the rich cultural tapestry of Zanzibar through its historic streets, where you’ll experience the diverseinfluences that have shaped the city over centuries.

Your guide will first take you to the vibrant market, brimming with exotic aromas and lively interactions. Next, visit the serene 19th-century cathedral, constructed on the former site of the slave market, a poignant reminder of the abolition of slavery in 1873. Stroll through narrow alleys, admiring the traditional Arab houses and Indian residences, and explore historic landmarks like the Tip Tip House, the Old Fort, and the People’s Palace Museum.

Enjoy lunch at the Silk Route Indian rooftop restaurant, offering ocean views and a delightful culinary experience. After the tour, you’ll be transferred to your beach hotel for a relaxing evening.

Today is yours to unwind and enjoy the amenities at your hotel. Kiwengwa Beach provides a stunning setting for relaxation, with options for beach activities and leisure. You can engage in free activities such as windsurfing, tennis, and table tennis, or visit the gym. For an additional cost, consider diving, fishing, or taking a boat trip. The Oasis Spa at the nearby Blue Bay Resort offers a range of treatments to indulge in (also at extra cost).

Following breakfast, our driver will transfer you to Abeid Aman Karume International Airport for your onward flight. If your flight is later in the day, you can either use the airport’s public facilities after check-out or, for an additional fee, we can arrange a day room for your convenience.
